For more than 30 years international students
have been welcomed to the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies - LIMS® to attend the Certification Program in
Laban Movement Studies.
You
will study Bartenieff Fundamentals sm and Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) daily, learn to observe all types of movement in detail
and dramatically improve your own movement vocabulary for dance, theatre, or any form of performance.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a Certificate as a Laban Movement Analyst
(CMA), which is an internationally recognized title per se and ads value to your career. Most graduate programs in dance in
the USA and abroad allow credits to be transferred in from the Certification program towards their MFA or MA degrees.
